Projekt Revolution:It's the alt-metal quintet Linkin Park's annual summertime musical caravan, and this year's venture boasts performances by Chris Cornell, Bravery and Ashes Divide on the Main Stage, along with Atreyu, 10 Years, Armor for Sleep, Street Drum Corps and Dayton's own Hawthorne Heights on the Second Stage. Area stops include Riverbend Music Center in Cincinnati on Aug. 15 and Verizon Wireless Music Center, north of Indianapolis, on Aug. 17. Gates open at 1 p.m.; music starts at 2 p.m. Tickets for Riverbend show are $73.50, $67.50 and $21.50, or $75 for four lawn seats.
Radiohead:The British band that put the alt in alternative is planning a summer tour that includes a regional stop at Verizon Wireless Music Center, north of Indianapolis, August 3. Grizzly Bear is set to open the concert at 7 p.m. And in Radiohead's true populist fashion, tickets cost a reasonable (relatively speaking) $53 and $30.
