Miami student from Bellbrook dies weeks after fall

Aaron Miller, a Miami University junior from Bellbrook, died Saturday, May 17, at Hospice of Dayton three weeks after sustaining a head injury in a fall. He was 20.

Miller was hospitalized in critical condition April 28 after reportedly falling from a lofted bed at the Pi Kappa Phi fraternity house, 111 E. Spring St. in Oxford.

Sgt. Jim Squance said Oxford police are still looking into the incident and will release a report Tuesday, May 20.

Miller, a 2006 Bellbrook High School graduate, was a finance major and entrepreneurship minor at Miami.

Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m. today, at Westbrock Funeral Home, 5980 Bigger Road, Kettering; and again 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, May 20 at St. Francis of Assisi Church, 6245 Wilmington Pike.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Francis of Assisi.

Miller is survived by his parents, Lisa and Jeff Miller; his sister, Kelsey Miller, and other relatives.
